Our mission

The Salisbury Diocesan Board of Education is concerned to serve God in all aspects of the Church's educational work and thereby enable people to develop spiritually, morally, socially and intellectually according to the beliefs of the Christian faith.

For Diocesan Policy Statements, guidance and good practice go to Resources.

We regularly update our News, Resources (including ideas and planning) and Gallery pages. Training & Events contain information on current courses, conferences and other activities both locally and nationally.

As we draw towards the end of the academic year we pray for

Our school communites, pupils, staff, parents and governors - for all special end of term events, for all pupils moving to new schools/colleges next year, and for the holiday period that it may be a time of refreshment.

Our diocesan community, especially for Bishop David, his family and all those who tend to his medical care as he recovers from a stroke,
Bishop Tim as he moves to Truro Diocese, and for the work of clergy as they support local schools.

Our world - for all people suffering as a result of injustice, poverty and violence.

A Prayer of Blessing
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
